Tickets and Fares

REGULAR FARE PRICING

Trains run most Saturdays and Sundays between January and November along with select holiday Mondays. The museum runs Santa Trains in the month of December (see below).

$10 for Adults (Ages 12 & Above)

$5 for Children (Ages 4 – 11)

Free for Children Ages 3 and Under

$7 rate for Adults in a Group of 12 or More

Regular fare tickets encompass the 40 minute excursion run, with your preference of seating in either our climate controlled coaches or in open air seating. Online ticket purchasing is currently not available, however reservations are not required for regular seating.

SANTA TRAINS

$10 for per person (December)

Santa Trains run the weekend following Thanksgiving through the month of December. Enjoy a 40 minute train ride with your favorite holiday music and a visit from Santa.

SPECIAL TICKETS

Cab Rides ($35 per Ticket)

Cab rides encompass the 40 minute excursion run during which passengers ride with the engineer and head brakeman in the cab of the locomotive. Certain locomotives do not have air conditioning in the cabs. We ask that people riding the cab are at least 7 years of age. Please inquire at the ticket office for availability.

Caboose Rides $20 per ticket

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:

Model Railroaders (Open as Staffing Allows)

The model railroaders are situated in a Union Pacific Harriman Chair Car from the Oregon Short Line once numbered 1342. The car includes a model of the old Boulder City yard and Las Vegas strip during the 1930’s, modelled in HO scale, and a dynamic model of various scenery in O-scale. The model rail car is free to the public.

Live Steamers (Running as Staffing and Weather Allows)

The Live Steamers run a miniature railroad in front of the display pavilion at 7.5″ scale, 1.5″ gauge. Train rides last for 10 minutes and are free to the public during open hours. Generally closed during the summer months due to excessive heat.
